On May 6, 2022, Abreu & Marques hosted the annual meeting of Concerto, International Association of Law Firms, in Lisbon.

The meeting took place at Grémio Literário and brought together lawyers from the following jurisdictions: Belgium, Brazil, Cameroon, Canada, Dubai, Spain, USA, France, Italy, Portugal, UK, Switzerland, Turkey.

The participants had the opportunity to address issues related to professional deontology, exchange experiences in their respective areas of legal practice, as well as meet and get to know the various law firms that are members of Concerto. 

During the meeting the various client recommendations between the different law firms therein represented were also discussed. As well as the existence of cases involving different members and jurisdictions.

Topics such as new technologies, climate changes, the impact of the pandemic and the war were also debated. 

Maria João Graça, from Abreu & Marques, was appointed as an executive member of the board of directors of Concerto for 2022/2023.

The next annual meeting of Concerto will take place on April 28, 2023.
