Highlights

Teresa Melo Ribeiro, partner of Abreu & Marques, is part of the Organizing Committee of the 3rd REAJA, which will again assemble Judges, Public Prosecutors and Lawyers dedicated to administrative justice. The 3rd REAJA, will take place on September 27, at 9:30 a.m, in the Auditorium of the Order of Engineers in Lisbon, and will be dedicated to the theme “ A new Process of Administrative Justice”. Panel I, “Approach to the (new) Civil Procedure” will be addressed by the speakers, Appeals Judge Maria Cristina Gallego dos Santos, the Public Prosecutor Leonor Furtado, and the lawyer Dr. Cláudio Monteiro, the ensuing debate being moderated by dr. Robin de Andrade; in Panel II,”Particularities of the Administrative Process”, the addresses will be made by the Judge of Law Esperança Mealha, the Public Prosecutor Helena Cluny, and the lawyer Margarida Olazabal Cabral, the ensuing debate being moderated by Prof. Mário Aroso de Almeida. For the Opening Session were invited the Minister of Justice, the President of the Parliamentary Committee on Constitutional Matters, Rights , Freedoms and Guarantees, and the President of the Association of Magistrates of the Administrative and Tax Jurisdiction of Portugal. The 3rd REAJA is organized in cooperation with the Association of Magistrates of the Administrative and Tax Jurisdiction of Portugal, and has the high patronage of His Excellency the President of the Republic.
