Maria João Graça, senior associate, has attended the 6th IBA European Corporate and Private M&A Conference, on February 1 and 2, in Paris, France. The conference had delegates, representing about 47 countries from all around the world. The focus was on several matters concerning M&A transactions and experiences. Several issues were discussed including current developments, the role of the board room, carve-out transactions, financing, taxation, insurances, M&A auctions, liability, internal investigations and M&A strategies.
